IDP Start Bench For Week Two - WK 2 Sit'em Fantasy Football Starter Help

If you're disappointed with the performances of a star IDP player for the first week just understand it is early in the season, and players are still getting in shape for a full 60 minute game. One player who did surprise in performance in spite of his conditioning is Packers outside linebacker Clay Matthews Jr.

Matthews posted a strong day for Big Play IDP fantasy leagues and was giving the Eagles fits all the way until his final big play put the game away. Seeing that Matthews missed most of the preseason with a hamstring injury it wasn't likely to expect him to play at this level. I guess we are all going to have to realize once and for all that Matthews isn't just a great fit in Dom Capers defense, but he is a special big play guy as well.

Below we have some start and bench players for week two of the IDP fantasy football season for you to keep an eye on.

Defensive Line

Start

Tamba Hali @ Browns: This is assuming of course that Tamba Hali is available in your league as a defensive end, but he should post a solid day against the Browns. Hali had five tackles and half a sack against the Chargers and this should only continue against the Browns shaky group. Jake Delhomme is expected to possibly miss this game, but if he should start his mobility will be in serious jeopardy.

Robert Ayers vs Seahawks: Sorry, another player who will depend on if he is available in your league as a defensive end. Ayers has continued his solid play from the offseason into the regular season with five tackles and a sack against the Jaguars. Look for Ayers to be a productive defensive end as he will rack up a decent tackle total for that position and should receive sack opportunities as he fills the void left by Elvis Dumervil.
